I mean like almost everyone has gotten their powers from some sort of lab experiment or accident?

Ex
Example:

Captain America

Spiderman

Hulk

The entire fantastic 4.

Or they are either mutants from some sort of accident.

IE. The X-men.

I mean come on, why must everyone in Marvel get their powers from some sort of freak accident?

Because, they followed the bandwagon. Only lames get their powers from birth, hipsters get in accidents.

Because it's more of a struggle going through that mutation. We get to mature our powers like a boss!

So they have some time to show superheroes getting used to their powers and how it affects their lives

It's just more interesting that way than being born with them and explaining things with science fiction

Being a regular person, and then being in a Freak accident makes the hero more relatable to normal readers.

Having super powers from birth ( superman ) makes it harder to relate

X-Men aren't from an accident they are the next step in human evolution, they're born the way they are.

OT: Because in the 40's-50's when most of these were made, nuclear energy was in the foreground of discussions and it was the line of thinking at the time. Plus most of them were made by Stan Lee.

How else would they go from being normal humans to super humans? It's one of the most likely scenarios and it leaves room for a lot of creativity.

Its the same with DC.Damn all comic except deadpool! (Which also got his in a lab)

Most of DC's original's weren't actually created this way, Marvel did that on purpose to differentiate themselves. Batman-no lab or accident, GL was given his weapon, Superman and Wonder Woman both born to power, J'onn J'onzz Born, Raven comes from a human/demon reltaionship, The Spectre was a murdered man turned away from the after life.

Not all of them are experiments or accidents. And yes Deadpool's power also came from an experiment, trust me I know.
