Blue Exorcist is about two 15 year olds, they're twins.
They are both born from Satan but only 1 of them (Rin) has the blue flames of Satan, the other one doesn't.

He lives oblivious to that fact until demons from hell have been sent to capture him and to reincarnate him as a demon in hell to live with Satan. His adoptive dad/guardian fends them off but gets killed by Satan in the process and it's partially Rin's fault.

He wants to train to become an exorcist and goes to a special exorcist school only to find out that his twin brother knew about the demon worlds a long time ago and will be his teacher.
He then makes a vow to kick Satan's ass.

Yet again, nothing like Death Note.
