2. Not really, Yamamoto has west to protect him.
3. In shikai Yama is capable of destroying area much larger than Karakura town (more than 100.000 people). Quite unlikely that Konoha is even near that size, since their population shouldn't be greater (considering that all 5 great villages + samurai population is 80.000). And man who can destroy far far greater area of Konoha (in just shikai), to not be able to counter TBB in his strongest form (x10 times stronger than shikai), is unlikely!
