well my mistake. i didn't watch the begining of the war arch so i did not see pakura but the jins are not top ten. Akatsuki raped them. Mito is just lore......And I just realized your talking about the women list.

nope haven't seen much fighting from him either. he's just a brain as far as I can see. If someone thinks your the embodiment of their will then you stabbing them in the back becomes pretty easy.

I excluded Hag,indra,and ashura because we haven't sen them fight. we can only speculate as to their true power. Kaguya we have seen that the reason she's on the list. my last list excluded her as well as the others.

You have a point if you're talking about Pain arc nagato. His sheer number give him a great advantage but I still think with Itachi his fluency with his sharigan and his combat iq. Itachi is just a shitty matchup for everyone. Nagato is the same way. His versatility in his nijutsu and his raw power and that ocular link of the pain bodies is formidable. like i said though these dont hold much weight in my mind i just like the debating. Combat evolves as it goes on. Both shinobi have ailment restricting their chakra use and exertion of their physical bodies and that in this battle would be the deciding factor to me. The more i think about it too the more i keep giving nagato an edge in my mind. I just dont know how long he can keep up the six bodies.

Well, he became crippled versing Hanzo, and since then the he used the 6 bodies ... which is basically a long time O.O ~Dem Uzumaki reserves dou XD~

Itachi doesn't have the stamina to hold Susano'o for a long time, his Genjustu can be negated by anyone of the paths disrupting the other ones Chakra flow, Ninjustu wouldn't affect Pein, both have shown to be very proficient in Taijutsu, but like i said, Itachi would not be able to take on all 6 at once, SM Naruto lost -people forget this- its only due to the 9 tails rampage he managed to survive being captured.

Itachi was exhausted by using Amatarasu and Tsukoyoumi in one day. A fight against Nagato/Pein would force him to use them multiple times in one day. Not to mention Amatarasu can be repelled with ST.

Nagatos/Peins Summons.. I really don't need to explain these.

If Itachi were to take out a few of the paths, Pein could easily revive them. Peins CT needed 3 top tier shinobi using there most powerful long ranged attacks to destroy it. Itachi alone would not be able to do it IMO ._.
