Do you guys remember when Hagoromo asked for Sasuke's answer? He said that I never listened to Indra or trusted him for that matter but I'll trust in you this time. Well it could be because he regrets being like Indra once and the thought of his child growing up as he originally did and choosing similar paths was too much. This could be the reason why he chose Ashura as the successor. It also could mean that Hagoromo and his brother fought against each other and the sage changes his ideals later on. This is why there are two ideologies the sage represents. So Black zetsu is not all to blame. Sure he was part of Kaguya's soul and he's corrupted her and he planned all this manipulation of the uchiha tablets and all but when it comes down to it. The sage and Kaguya are just as much at fault than Black zetsu. I'd say the whole Otsutsuki family is at fault, not just one person

Yes, but if Black Zetsu havent had persuade/encountered Indra, Indra then might have not gone that path he chose, his father did basically choose his other son.
