Hashirama's justu cannot regenerate limbs. Byakugou is similar to Hashirama's justu, So it presumably has the same downsides.

However, Obito can regenerate his limbs. He's lost his arms several times, and he still has two. Here is the first time he regenerated one.

It's pretty easy to see that obito doesn't just have a withered arm under the bandages at the start of his flashback.

So, he regenerated it, and it wasn't just a zetsu arm he borrowed.

This isn't just limited to his right side, as Minato blew off his left one.




Obviously juubi jins have better regeneration, but that's an unfair comparison since juubi jins are basically gods, and Obito was a juubi jin.

Half of Obito is Zetsu, so it's the same as Madara using a zetsu to regen his arm.

It is Obito who has half of Zetsu inside him. Also Obito does not have instant ability to regenrate his arm or limbs. If He gets injured then he goes back to his hide-out & regenerate it using Zetsu's abilities. Which is nothing but Hashirama's regeneration abilties.
