To answer the question, Brazil is good individually but they can't play as a team, most of them play in different European teams while the coach works in Brazil (Brazil's style of football is very different from the European style), it's just a bad combination.

Against a team like Germany who are good individually and know how to play together very well (as many of them play on the same team) Brazil (and most teams) don't stand a chance
