Doflamingo will not die. Characters do not simply 'die' in One Piece. He will for sure get his a$$ whopped but he will ultimately escape to be used for plot down the track somewhere.

He will make a return like all 'defeated' characters have. I.e - Sir Crocodile, Pell, Rob Lucci, Enel.

Doflamingo is smart enough to realize that going to Kaido will kill him. Without CC he has no leverage over Kaido. Going to Kaido would be the stupidest thing he could do.

What options would he have left though?
If he's being arrested that means the Nobles have completely given up hope on him and are not intervening. The last man he has left on the planet with the slightest chance of fighting for him would be Kaido. Doflaimngo is simply a super smart middle man.
