Current thoughts on the Pokemon XY anime

I still watch this anime, It's great and will always be great. I would like a Shonen-Type Spinoff series. It would be great if Pokemon made more Pokemon Mega evolution episodes, and an upgraded demographic rating as well, from TV Y7 FV to TV-PG. Anyways the anime has a generic storyline, but engaging characters, and with Ash caching Hawlucha, this makes his team less boring.

i think that who ever is creating pokemon should stop !! I mean how many seasons are they gonna create before he finally becomes the pokemon master !! I hope this is the last one !! the first time i watched pokemon was when i was 6 and now m 15 ... STOP IT POKEMON CREATORS !!

Pokemon needs a series overhaul. Enough with Ash and it's happy-go lucky storyline.

No. Done with pokemon. Mega evolution ****ed it over. It's beyond retarded. I was looking forward to the Ruby & Sapphire remake.. But they even ****ed that over with Mega.

So far, I'm loving XY.
Best Wishes suffered from the horrendous planning and the series was probably one of the worst in the franchise. Its first half was decent but the 2nd half (I think it was after the Donamite competition) lead the series to its downfall. It felt like they didn't know where the series is going or should go.

XY, on the other hand, is a HUGE improvement. I think some changes were made in the management staff (series director being one, I think). The removal of still backgrounds is a small change but it's amazing how much it affects the awesomeness in animation. I'm satisfied with the current pacing, characters have never interacted this much before and their chemistry is simply great. I guess it's because they don't have a mentor figure this season... I don't know. But yeah, I hope they don't drop the ball.

I don't think they will ever stop. Pokemon is a large source of income for them and as long as it still has fans it will keep on going strong.

Yeah, somewhat true. As long as the games keep coming, they are not likely to stop the anime. It's a great way to promote the current and upcoming games. As an icing on the cake, it's doing well in terms of ratings on TV Tokyo.
