honestly from what we have seen and heard i would also say Uchiha > Senju bar Hashirama and Tobirama.. but thats the thing.. we dont know much about the Senju as a whole..

also u have to bare in mind that most of the uchiha during the war between the 2 clans didnt even have MS.. some might not have even had a full 3 tomo sharingan..

so i can see why Senju were stronger during the war.. there physical abilities were probably a lot better

false. ashura had never been better than indra. ashura once was useless, couldnt do anything, and so weak. he then had friends and with his friends, they became equal with indra. never stated at once he was better than indra, alone nor with friends. neither had indra was still better than ashura

Best clan right now is Hyuga cause they still have a clan. Senju and Uchiha are either all dead or few left. Speaking as a whole though Uchiha does have higher amount of gifted shinobis. While Senju are only known for 3. While Uchiha is doubled that.

The Uchiha should overall be stronger than the senju, normally. There eye abilities give them an automatic one up on the senju. The only senju the Uchiha really didn't have any advantage on should be Tobirama (a genius who invented a means to teleport through space/time, among other things) and Hashirama (with gigantic chakra reserves and wood jutsu capable of so many amazing things).

The uchiha are definitely above the senju currently, that's for sure. Before the senju were above the uchiha due to Hashirama and Tobirama being more powerful than Madara and Izuna.

How is that false ? Senjus are late bloomers and in the end they are always stronger than Uchihas. Ashura didn't fought Indra with friends , he relied on them until his body bloomed.
