personally i don't think AOT style is all that great mostly because they use a lot of still images and pan the camera around and avoid showing a lot of lip animation in some episodes sure the drawing is great but they make a lot less frames then an anime that is constantly moving frames.

EDIT: if square enix's studio picked up naruto shippuden only that would be ****ing amazing advent children level quality or greater would be perfect. but it would take a year per episode :/

DBZ has the worst animation doe.

It was animated in the 1980's... This is 2014. Like 30 years later man. Are you kidding me, ofcourse it's not going to look great compared to modern anime's. But for back then it was good.

yeah I know that's what i'm getting at they can make those high quality action scenes on time because they have to make a lot less frames for the rest of the episode, its a good system that works I just don't like that many still images when watching an anime. but it definitely works

2. Tobirama vs Izuna , it was great .. the animators must stick to the Manga ... in manga Tobiramavs Izuna were fighting with swords , so in anime this should be the same

but in the end .... I see your point . this animators really suck ... the best animation I've seen so far is Madara's entrance !!! ..... the others suck .. but I hope that when these huge creatures leave the battlefield ... the animation will get better =D

I understand but they could have done sweet moves with the swords. But it felt like we were watch some genin ninja sword fight at the academy, if you know what I mean?

Well... The only anime of which I have liked the animation is Attack on Titan, the rest of them seem pretty underwhelming to me in general.

That's why I prefer to read the manga rather than watching the anime, yet in Attack on Titan's case, I watch the anime.

It's like watching two groups of animators in one episode. Tobirama vs. Izuna fights were rushed, While the Madara vs. Hashirama battles and moments were done fairly well.

I agree though, sometimes I look at Tobirama or Hashirama and it doesn't look like them. ._.

Sometimes I think that because Naruto has such a large number of followers that even if the animators serve the fans with crappy animation, there's still a lot of revenue to be garnered with such small effort. So why make a lot of effort for an episode when you're still going to get high ratings? Just my two cents.

I think thats most likely because they only had 1 panel to go off of for that fight so they had to improvise and it came out like that overall they did a decent job the fight makes sense for the most part, while the madara vs hashirama battles have been shown much more in the manga so they have more material to base the fights off.

They have seen how madara fights, he and Izuna trained so they could have gave Izuna a similar fighting style. Hel they could have merged styles of multple Uchiha if they needed to. Still no idea why Izuna was animated with only 3T, derp.

I have a feeling a lot of the animators don't follow the manga as closely as most of us do they probably only read the chapters as they need to as to make each episode im sure some of them do there are different directors/teams for different episodes so could be.

Oh god, they are more awful as a still capture compared to watch the whole seen. He actually looks like a shinobi who has down syndrome. He has like a "Der wur m i" face.

Your points about tobirama vs Izuna are irrelevant. The animators had literally nothing to work with from the manga so they had to make their own fight scenes. They still had to fit 1.5 chapters into 1 episode while adding a fight scene of there own so of course there wouldn't be much substance. You say tobirama won't fall for 3t genjutsu; based on? Nothing. Nothing but your fanfiction. Everyone falls for genjutsu whether sharingan or otherwise. Tobirama isn't some god.

With that said, I do agree that naruto has some poor animation. The big fights (see: naruto vs sasuke, naruto vs pain, madara vs Sa, etc) have the worst animations i've ever seen. Even cartoon network has better animations than those fights. They should get some disney or pixar animators to do their animations for them... Gonna probably be a bit expensive though...

The animators are not consistent.Some episodes are too good and some are too bad.
I was very much disappointed with Naruto vs Pain.And I'm yet to see Tobirama vs Izuna.
