Dude it's canon because the creator helped with the movie and said it took place after Buu.
GT is made by another person which makes it non-canon.
It doesn't matter if GT is non-canon or not. Yes, BOG is canon, but GT is in a timeframe where Z exists and since BoG is now a part of Z, if we consider GT in fights between it and BoG, it is a continuation of Z and therefore it happened in the GT timeframe. What this means is that goku has the god sense if we are arguing for GT, despite it being non-canon, it is a continuation of Z and BoG happens in the Z timeframe at this point. Now, powerscaling. Goku and Uub and trained for 5 years and in base were over the level of Kid Buu and Super Buu, easily. Rildo was stated to be the level of 3 super buu, and Goku casually toyed with him in MSSJ and he was enough to be handled with in base. In the god aura, goku had felt bills before, right? This is accepted and irrefutable, seeing as BoG is canon to the main storyline. Arguing for Z, in GT Baby was the strongest aura goku had felt. Since BoG takes place 6 months to a year after the kid buu saga is resolved, then Baby > Bills. This is baby, an early on villain in GT. BoG cannot be stronger or debated against DBGT without confusion, because the sheer level of power increase from Z to GT is absolutely immense and not measurable when according to Z.
DBZ = Canon. BoG = Canonized movie. DBZ & BoG = Canon. ->>> 5 years after, goku meets uub. ->>> 5 years after, an alternate non-canon timeline is argued where GT takes place.
This is the same situation as arguing for Future Trunks' timeline or a movie, it has to be applied to Z, even though alterations make it non-canon or illogical to happen. If we're arguing for GT, all the events in Z take place, meaning BoG, meaning GT is far above BoG.
