Wings are designed by years of evolution for flight.If something can't fly then the wings devolve to help the creature survive better.

So no penguins don't have wings,and if we go by your logic then every animal with flippers can fly.

The "wings" of a penguin are a left over by product of evolution changing them to make the animal swim better in water.They are flippers just like those of a sea lion or walrus.

yea thanks for the obvious but its not I that said penguines have specialized wings it was the guys that have their phDs that did and they took alot of bilogy classes and madara susanoo has wings stay dilusional

also its not the "flipper" alone that characterises it as a specialzied wing but the feathers

so a flipper with feathers = special wing you lose
