Jman already knows no one in Akatsuki is fodder, even with no intel on their abilities. He already told Kakashi that they are all extremely powerful S-rank criminals and at that time he only knew of Orochimaru and Itachi abilities. If the intent is to kill, I see no reason why he wouldn't boss summon and end Sasori.

would he know sasoris apart of the akatsuki? anyway if that was the case why didn't he do it with pain, konan, or orochimaru
