I think the real naruto went into the dimension but immediately summoned a clone and hid. Either that or him having the 8 tailed beasts inside him makes him harder to kill. Or maybe the seal protected him? Whatever it is, I hope it wasn't a clone that went into the dimension since that would be to simple plus he stated he was the real one.

Well I don't think that attack was able to kill him. We have seem weaker people survive worse, e.g madara,obi to etc. Just saying...

that seems possible. but a problem i have with most people's theory is that narutos real body is still in kakashis dimension. why would naruto stay there when he said he wanted to save sasuke personally?
