Why wish for strong characters to get weaker instead of weak people to get stronger?

I notice people tend to want strong characters to be nerfed instead of simply having the weaker ones get strong enough to match the stronger ones.

For example, there was a thread earlier that was complaining about how powerful the sharingan is. Instead of wanting the sharingan to be weaker, why not just wish for (insert character here) to develop some kind of unique antimatter jutsu or some time control jutsu in order to match and counter the power of a sharingan user.

Another example is how people hate on bijuu power. Instead of wanting jinchuuriki to get nerfed, why not wish for (insert character here) to be stronger. If Naruto has bijuudama, then it is just up to Joe (random name I just decided to use as an example) to invent the bijuudama reflector.

Just look at Minato for instance. He invented rasengan and he got sage mode and rasen senkou chou rinbu kuo san shiki. He didn't have a kekkei genkai or bijuu (not counting edo Minato).

Just look at Shikamaru. He simply used his brain in order to beat Hidan. He has no genetic or bijuu related perks.

Instead of hating on power, why can't fans just think like this? Sore losers ask for people to be nerfed while the strong make the effort to simply counter those with inborn advantages and get stronger themselves.

There is no such thing as too much power! Power is epic! It makes the fight more entertaining, it raises the tension and feeling of danger or epicness and it results in epic strategizing!

Exactly. Kishi turned this fcking manga into DBZ. Naruto and Sasuke should not be strong enough to take on the mother of the god of all shinobi, which is a goddess herself by themselves. Like tf? It should take the whole ninja alliance to beat her, not just those two. I mean we all knew they'd become strong but come on. After they beat Kaguya, they'll have enough power to take over the fcking world by their-selves, which is ridiculous.

Maybe for DBZ. But this is Naruto, a manga about NINJAS. It's supposed to be about strategy, It's supposed to be like rock paper scissors, Scissors beat paper, And rock beat scissors, BUT paper beats rock. It has to do with strategy, and different specific techniques beating each other, not Who ever has the biggest f*cking rock wins the fight. Save that power bull sh*t for DBZ

No it doesn't, the amount of power given to the likes of Naruto or sasuke is unbelievable. These two aren't even twenty yet and they are already above the likes of hashirama and Madara when they were in their 30-40s. Its ****ing ridiculous and stupid.

They would stand no chance. Even with powered up friends.
The only reason they can come close to Kaguya is because there is two of them and they have a half of her power COMBINED.

nerfed after this war is over. as in their new powers are temporary because I don't like how OP they are currently. There should be SOME sense of danger as they are now no1 could give them any kind of problems aside from Kaguya and the Solo God

What does age have to do with it? Not knocking you're opinion, I'm just genuinely curious. Franklin Richards had psionic powers out of this world when he was a toddler, for example. Why does Naruto only being 17 matter for his power scale?

I like the fact that the power level is this high. Increases the drama and tension and sets the scope of the fight in an all new way. Kaguya, or anybody else, would not be a very threatening villain if she was just a street level opponent or what have you.

It is that mentality of adults that will continue to hold society back forever if this keeps up. Progress should know no age! The younger generations are supposed to surpass their elders! They are not supposed to stay weak just because they are not 20! If you want to blame someone, blame Hashirama and Madara for not having rikudou power as teenagers!

Didn't you read it? I said that everyone else needs to get stronger too. Therefore it would not just be only a few "God tier" characters.

That just means that Kishi needs to introduce even stronger enemies than Kaguya and keep making the enemies stronger and stronger as he goes! That way there still would be danger! Long live power!!!!
