BM, SM minato = base minato?

He's shown SM Rasengan, but we haven't seen much of what it can do.

Minato said he never really used SM in actual combat because it takes to long to knead the chakra and he can't maintain it long. That's the same as Naruto in Pein arc, Naruto called SM useless because Pa toad told him that he needs his comrades to buy him time as he gathers the natural energy, SM last 5 minutes, and he couldn't fuse with Ma and Pa toad.
We don't know for sure if Minato can fuse with Ma and Pa toad but it's more likely seeing how he was Jiraiya's student since he was a genin and like a son to him and Pa toad teaches frog kata and SM jutsus after you learn to go SM. Minato's fighting style is to attack fast and effectively to finish the battle. Sitting completely still to gather natural energy doesn't fit Minato's fighting style, he usually ends the fight before he would enter SM.
Minato as a edo tensei is weaker than alive Minato so all of his stats are weaker, same for the other Edo Hokages. Edo Minato was also a supporter so he was downplayed along with the other Edo Hokages so can't really judge their feats when they're weaker than when they're alive and are made into supporters. If Kishi lets the Sage do some COAT to give Minato his arms, make Hirzuen in his prime, turn them from supporters to lead roles, and let them use 100% power then we can accurately judge what they can do.
I get Naruto and Sasuke are the stars and all but Kaguya is an evil of the past like Madara was/is so letting the Past heros take care of it or at least fight as lead roles like Naruto and Sasuke would be expectable to me.

i wouldn't expect a rasengan to kill a target without hitting it.
BM Minato is far greater than base minato. He's got magnitudes more chakra than he does in base, can fire TBBs, becomes one of the best sensors in the manga, has the bijuu avatar, chakra roar, chakra arms, bijuu-sized rasengans, way more durable, way faster in raw speed.
SM Minato would have far more strength, speed, durability, and his jutsu would all get much more powerful. On top of that he would gain some kind of heal factor and he'd get sensing that gives his reactions a massive boost.

Minato's arm was severed and wasn't able to maintain the rotation, and he wasn't pushing it into Kakashi.
A full force SM rasengan would murder his ass.

ive been saying this for ages, SM and BM do absolutely nothing for Minato imo. He'd still defeat the same opponents and lose to the same opponents regardless of what mode he's in.
BM shouldn't even count because it's only after death that he obtains this.
But yeah, Minato is still ranked the same in my book whether he's in SM, BM, or nahh.
He's only outclassed by Naruto (bar SM), Sasuke (bar EMS and below), Obito (Any version), 8th Gate Gai, Madara (any version bar EMS and lower), Nagato, and Hashirama.
