The Origin of Madara's Limbo Hengoku Technique

Madara's Limbo Hengoku is said to revolve around his clone in the invisible world of Limbo . He's able to project a duplicate of himself that's resistant to physical damage (except from Rikudo's chakra ) in another dimension.

I theorize that he was able to obtain this technique because he had died before . Befoe he died he rigged his right eye and transcripted Izanagi to active after a certain time period . So it means Madara was able to cross over and come back again from Limbo .

Thus when he obtained the Rinnegan ( Which gives the user control over life and death ) he actually gained the ability to project a duplicate of himself into Limbo .

Unfortunately it doesn't.
For starters, something either resides in a dimension (physically) or it doesnt. The limbo clones are able to make physically contact with anything (but r only damaged by the Sage's Chakra).
Limbo: Border Jail / Limbo Hengoku is an Rinnegan technique so Madara could've only obtained it after awakening the Rinnegan.
It could be a secret technique of The Sage of the Six Paths or something Madara created himself

Not really he just gained it by the Rinnegan.
