Ive been watching a animated version of star wars and that had finished but has piqued my interest in Star Wars. Supposedly their is a certain pattern in which i should watch them?

Can people please tell me the order in which i should watch them and by this i mean storywise- not release wise. I dont want to be half way watching and be like wait when did this happen Lol

Also would be awesome, if youse could provide a link to watch them all in good quality. I would find a link, but cbf + going to bed now. I'll check your responses soon. Mwuah love all my fans :heh:

Well if you want timeline wise, not in the order they were actually released. I think it would be this.

Episode 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5, then 6.

Though I would say that episode 1,2, and 3 were built to be viewed after 4,5, and 6.

If you are watching the animated clone wars series, then I think that goes inbetween episodes 2 and 3.

Storywise? Just the order they're numbered, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 then 6

The order they were released is better tho.

Episode I: The Phantom Menace is the movie with "some boy this is 11 I think, goes into a race? The "boy" is Anakin Skywalker, he is 9, the race is a pod race and the name of the race in the movie is the Boonta Eve Classic.

The movies were released in this order:

1977: Episode IV: A New Hope
1980: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
1983: Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi

This is called the OT or Original Trilogy.

1999: Episode I: The Phantom Menace
2002: Episode II: Attack Of The Clones
2005: Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

This is called the prequel trilogy.

2008: Star Wars The Clone Wars (Animated Movie)

This movie is set in between ep II & ep III and tells the story of the many battles of the Clone Wars that couldn't be told in the live action movies due to time constraints.

To understand the story it is best to watch them in the order that they were released in not in the order of 1 - 6 but whatever floats your boat.

May The Force Be With You ...
