[Question] What would you think of this

Now i was thinkin the other day how Garp wanted Ace and Luffy to be Marines. What if Ace, Sabo, and Luffy were all in different factions like this

Ace-Marine
I thought that this might be pretty cool

I dont know i prefer Ace being the marine because i feel that Luffy would ve to clueless to be a marine

Actually if that happens, they would end up killing each other. OR they would ebd up killing ace, think about it. Luffy was a pirate, sabo was a revolutionary. Long story short that would not be cool.

Yeah Luffy would probably try to convince Ace to leave the marines if he ever attacked Marineford and then someone at a higher rank than Ace would kill him for thinking abot committing treason

I don't see Ace being a Marine... he's too calm, he seems like he would let pirates get away on his watch.

But with a few personality tweaks that could be easily changed and I would see it very fit.

I always wanted to see a short spin off or maybe anime filler where the strawhats are all in the navy and some marines are pirates. I wonder how they would deal with a chain of command and protocol.

I could totally see this happening and he would also eat all the food like he did in the filler arc I think ot was G8 or something like that

Ace would basicly be Aokiji.


In the end it would be 2v1 since Sabo wouldnt care about Luffy being a pirate while Ace being a marine is a problem.
Altho I think that the only person who would attempt to kill the other is Ace killing either of them while they would try to get him to leave.Reason is that Ace as a marine would have a certain code to follow and as such he can only hesitate for so long before being forced to attempt to eliminate the enemy to the world (how marines see pirates)
