CLARIFICATION:Sasuke did not defeat Itachi

There a lot of people who think Sasuke defeated Itachi during their fight. They think that Itachi was coughing blood due to the overuse of Susano's and that due to the overuse of MS plus Sasuke's moves he lost and hence, died.
Let me tell you clearly Itachi was suffering form a terminal illness hence he was coughing blood all the time.Surely the use of MS was straining his body but it was actually due to the disease that he died.He wouldn't have been even hit by Sasuke's rigged shuriken since according to Zetsu he was also moving a lot slower and was unable to evade moves he usually would have.This all can be attributed to his illness.

Hence, Sasuke did not defeat Itachi and had no chance at it from the jump.Itachi died undefeated. Itachi died because his body was already wrecked by disease.He knew he was going to die so he called Sasuke to fight and put his all in the battle to check whether Sasuke had become strong or not.

Good guys don't get killed, they kill themselves or sacrifice their life for others. All the hokage, and Itachi are on this list. Itachi didn't intend to kill Sasuke, if anything he was just pushing sasuke to his limit so that Orochimaru would be released from him. When his job was finished he stop prolonging his life and went happily.

Well, Sasuke did push Itachi to use the Susanoo, but if Itachi wanted to he could have ended right there. TBH, looking back on it that Sasuke vs Itachi was just Itachi testing Sasuke's strength.

Sasuke didnot beat itachi on equal grounds, itachi wanted I be beaten however that doesnot change the fact that after the fight itachi was dead and Sasuke was alive.
