Itachi - incradably smart ( even hashi,maddy,tobi,oro, bz, hiruzen approved it)
sasuke- show off and selfish
naruto - dumb qss and rackless with power . ( can be ignored with current feats)
With itachi's spritual wepons and kabuto's sage power ( narute manipulation) kaguya could have been trolled by now.

Trying to downgrade Naruto and Sasuke who have been working pretty well together in part one, know each other much more than Itachi and Kabuto, and are shown to be the other half to the other person's power.
Now it's time for you to know why Itachi and Kabuto wouldn't be a great team, Their personally would clash since Kabuto thought he could define himself by adding others to himself while Itachi thought he could do everything himself and even called himself a failure for it. These are alive Itachi who didn't learn his lesson and Kabuto before going in Izanami right? Or is it edo Itachi and Kabuto after escaping Izanami?
For alive Itachi: He was dying from an illness that he needed to take medicine just to extend the time that he could be alive, has low stamina, was going blind, stuffer from a lot of pain when he used his MS jutsus which are all chakra taxing jutsus and which are all even more painfully due to his illness. Alive Itachi can't push himself physically, can't stay in Susanoo too long due to low stamina/health issues/MS side effect pain, closes his eye to build up chakra to use Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.
Edo Itachi: Edo's are much weaker than when they are alive so all of Itachi's jutsus and stats are weaker than when he's alive. Itachi does not suffer from his illness as a edo so that is a bonus but his chakra reserves are lower. Edo's tensei don't have "infinite chakra reserves" in the sense that their chakra replenish automatically or much faster. We seen Edo Minato run out of chakra after the God tree absorb his chakra and he used FTG to escape. After that, Tobirama had to FTG the Shinobi alliance members using Minato as a medium because Minato had no chakra to do it himself. Hashirama also ran out of chakra after using most of it and giving Sasuke the last of it.
Kabuto does have the power to use a lot of Edo tensei at once but he can't control them all to fight as he wants to at once, he can't put them on auto or have them fight on their free will such as Madara. Kabuto's jutsus are more specific for a cave like environment as he said; his white noise and environment manipulation specifically.
Minato is highly hyped for his intelligence and it's mentioned by Jiraiya in many ways such as Minato never make a move without reason, Minato is a genius that comes once in a life time, he hasn't seen a genius like Minato since Minato. Tsunade also said Minato doesn't make a move without reason when Naruto told her and A what Minato did for him. A said he thought Minato would never be surpassed and A does know about Itachi since he knew the MS when Sasuke activated it and his guard Shi said Sasuke's Amaterasu is better than Itachi which means he would have to have seen it.
Minato also has SM and master it at the level Naruto did in Pein arc, he only said it takes time to knead the chakra and doesn't last long and Naruto called SM useless for that reason in pain arc when he was training. Minato's movements are too fast for MS to keep up since Sasuke's MS couldn't keep up with A's lightning armor level 2 and Minato is faster. In the Anime, Minato solo'ed 1000 ninjas. A sensor in base and SM. Minato fought A and Bee on more than one occasion since A said they butted heads more than once and Bee was his tag team partner; Bee trembled at the mention of Minato in Naruto's training.
I would team Minato up with Tobirama who is much like Minato himself but with more stamina, knowledge of jutsus since he's the creator of many jutsus himself, has edo tensei and had access to the DNA of Madara, Hashirama, and Izuna. Can fill the battle field with water as he did in part 1 as a edo, then he can FTG anywhere on the field where his water is since he can FTG wherever his chakra is or is connected to and his water jutsus are created from his chakra. Minato and Tobirama can tag each other and FTG to each other or mark the opponent and FTG their enemy to themselves. Tobirama is a great Sensor, can tell the clan a person from just from their chakra nature. Grew up in a time of constant war so he's bred for fighting, is on Madara's level since they fought in the past and Madara even said Edo Tobirama can't use his true power so now the gap in their power is big.
Both also skilled in sealing jutsus. Minato can seal chakra so chakra base forms such as Susanoo could be sealed with the four triagram. Seal edo's and have the speed to fight many ninjas.
