I remember reading that after a certain time hidan wasn't immortal anymore.

What i know myself is that he is immortal, and that circle thing just is a ritual to let others get the injuries he gets, so for the ppl who want to say that he's mortal if he's not in the circle, this just threw your theory out of the avenue

How long was his immortality's duration after an offer, and in which episode he explained that?

I believe as long ad he did those rituals he was immortal but it never exactly said he would die if he didn't do them. He's most likely still alive, like Kakuzu mentioned.

Yeah i would think that too if he wasn't brought back by edo tensei, so he is dead...

so how exactly do you kill an immortal? He was chopped to pieces sealed and buried alive by Shikamaru, yet he was brought back by Edo Tensei.Or am I missing something?

I think he needs tto keep offering people to his god, or else he dies after a certain time, that's what i want to know, how long it takes before he dies

He wasn't brought back via Edo Tensei. He was only 'cloned' via one of Kabuto's experiments in the Chikara arc. I think Kishimoto mentioned he can die from malnutrition though...

that was just a filler and ..... he was cloned but his body was created by some supermini microscopic snakes that had short period of life .. that's why he died ...

and in manga he never died .. he still lives in konoha forbidden forest .... but in pieces =D

No, Hidan is completely immortal even if he's not in the circle. Doesn't matter if ya cut his head off and ship it to Iwa, he'll survive. There's no real time limit, unless you count malnutrition.
