Secondary objective is power in order to make your primary objective happen. Without power you cannot make your dreams come true. It is basically getting lost in your path to your primary objective when you get drunk with power. This still does not change the fact he wishes to create a world where people don't go through the losses he went through.

Look at it as Orochimaru. His primary objective is NOT the Rinnegan or Sasuke. It's not immortality either. His primary objective is to learn every Jutsu in the world but in order to make that into reality he needs to get through the other steps first.

It's not letting me edit but to add a bit more to this, both Madara and Hashirama trained since childhood in order to attain the power to make their dream a reality. Madara pointed it out clearly that you can't make anything happen just with a loud voice. Power was just the middle ground in order to reach their final destination: Peace.

With time as they both became heads of their clans due to their power, Madara ended up side tracked due to his mental weakness while Hashirama kept in line with his dream. Madara had the power to keep summoning comets over and over when he was an Edo Tensei and to destroy the entire continent if he wanted to, but that did not happen because power was not his objective but the IT.

well i dont think so, now that the history is revealed he might chose a different way. the reason he was obsessed with power was because he was following the stone tablet. it would be cool and awesome if we get to see the kid madara version(his personality).

did they..??!! as far as i know, they awakened MS by losing their comrades i guess. well, anyway he will change because he knows that the uchihas were manipulated from the start. there is no way that he will stay calm after what happened to their clan. thats what i think though..

But I think Madara has nothing to be evil about. He already did the I.T, but at the last minute, his fun was ruined when Black Zetsu came in, and he saw the truth. To me, he doesn't have anything else to do but get revenge and help. Then, maybe afterwords, either just die, or literally, just leave.
