Guess you miss the part where Itachi had to take out Nagato's summonings/share vision while Kabuto was focused on Naruto and Bee which he soloed. In a 1 on 1, Itachi wouldn't be able to take out Nagato's summons, Amaterasu will get sensed and absorbed, evaded, or deflected with deva path. Genjutsu wouldn't work since Nagato controls them already and MS<Rinnegan. Weapon path would barricade Itachi with missiles and his laser which would force Itachi to use Susanoo. Use Deva path power to pull Totsuka and/or Yata mirror from Susanoo since the jutsu is much faster and stronger when Nagato uses it himself as stated by Naruto. From there he will absorb Susanoo then pull out Itachi's soul by using deva path to prevent him from running away.

But that deva path pull/push take too much recharge time. Totsuka blitz is one second fairplay.

Susano'o and Totsuka are Chakra constucts, Nagato could absorb Naruto's "KCM", so why not those?

Susano'o is a sealing jutsu. It can seal the absorber in a blitz. No time for damn absorption.

First read it what I said. Kabuto couldn't be killed. Edo has to be cancelled out.

3T Sasuke didn't solo Itachi. Itachi did a suicide because he couldn't kill his beloved brother.

Lol I think you're being delusional. Preta path absorbs as it goes. Chakra enters it's range and it is absorbed. Totsuka couldn't seal it. It would keep being drained until it either disperses or the Uchiha powering the Susano'o runs out of Chakra. I respect and like Itachi much, but he can't win.

Lol its not like Itachi would just let his chakra drain out from Totsuke even if it doesn't work Battles need not to be always linear. Itachi is vastly more intelligent and analytic than Nagato. He will find a way around.

Well than he couldn't use Totsuka, otherwise he'd always be in range when he went to strike. Though it's arguable.

First off, it was a 5 second interval for Deva Pein which is not a lot of time. Second, Itachi doesn't know about that time limit. Third, Naruto stated that Edo Nagato's jutsus are much faster and stronger than when he used them with his Peins, what's faster than 5 seconds? 0-4 seconds? Itachi doesn't have his information. What's stopping Nagaton from pulling Totsuka's blade from Susanoo? Nagato's pull is stronger than Susanoo's grip since it can be used to destroy a whole village in one shot while Susanoo doesn't have the physical strength to come close to that power in a single punch.

Deva path was strong enough to blast Gamabuta and the other 2 giant toads miles away from himself after he used a ton of chakra in almighty push and using his paths. Susanoo is roughly the same size as 1 Giant toad and Nagato's pull/push is much stronger than Deva Pein's.

Nagato does have information on Itachi and his MS jutsus, Zetsu use to report to him and Obito every fight he recorded remember? Itachi has no knowledge of Nagato's jutsu so he wouldn't know that he can have his soul pulled out. There's also the run out of chakra thing, Minato and Hashirama ran out of chakra and it didn't replenished to full or very fast either. Itachi never tried used genjutsu on Nagato for a reason (Rinnegan>MS) while he did try to use on Bee before knowing it wouldn't work on prefect jinchuurikis and his plan against Kabuto revolved around genjutsu. Itachi has no sound genjutsu which is the weakness of doujutsus.

Itachi would be getting the egg bombs dropped on him from the bird, get attacked by the dog, crab, panda, lizard, ect... from different angles and Nagato have shared vision and sensory ability so he can have them dodge Amaterasu or he can push Itachi or Susanoo miles away as he did with the 3 giant toads which are about the same size as Susanoo but the power would be focused on Itachi/Susanoo and crashing about will do damage to Itachi.
