possible reason for obito and madara to be a factor.

Honestly I think because most people want to see what the kamui was truly capable of. I mean the attempted feat we are gearing up to see by obito. May very well be the counter to kaguyas s/T jutsu. Making it possibly the fastest jutsu and you could debate it being the most stealth like one also. for madara we never really saw his ability either besides susanno. Which at the point was nothing new from a uchiha besides the scaling of it. So perhaps a edo madara with out hashiramas chakra will be revived. What yall think.?

Madara is dead and yes we are about to see what Obito can do since he has both eyes now...
They deserve to die if they revive Madara again

At this point, I'm actually beginning to wonder if Madara actually did die during the transformation.

If he did die though, then he'll probably be Edo Tensei'd. I'm sure he'll be back though.

About their roles though:

IMO

Obito-Will help bring Sasuke back to help Naruto face Kaguya since both Nardo and Sauce are needed to seal her away. Perhaps Obito will live for a while afterwards and help Naruto and Sasuke combat her S/T with his Kamui to make sure they aren't seperated again.

Madara-According to Sasuke, another Rinnegan is needed to cancel IT. Since Sasuke will be busy against Kaguya, I think Madara will be the one to undo the IT. It would also be good to the story too IMO. Being the one who casted IT on the world, he will now have to make the decision to cancel it after finding out the truth. Perhaps freeing everyone from IT will weaken Kaguya too giving Naruto and company a better chance at fighting her.

And ofcourse, Madara and Obito team up to make BZ beg for his dad.

They would need to revive Madara in his normal state, that is of course if black zetsu truly killed Madara to revive Kaguya with his body.

Since Madara has his original eyes (ms to a rinnegan), we can hope to see an ms technique.

Not sure if he still has PS though, because one of the EMS is blind from inzanagi.

Obito will be showing a few capabilities later, I don't think he intends to show his whole moveset.
