After looking at a particular thread, i wanted to look at what itachi did, in a different point of view, i mean if you really think about it, no one actually knew what fugaku and the rest were gonna do, what if they were gonna go to the hidden leaf, with weapon's and etc, but what if they were only gonna threaten them and make orders?, basically tell the hidden leaf that they wanted equal rights and wanted more land and etc

All they basically wanted was freedom in a way, they weren't slaves or anything, but the hidden leaf basically ran their lives, so was it wrong for them to fight back?, they wanted to overthrow the village because they were acting like dictator's and pushing them around, so they were sick of it

Also like i said before, people said that "The uchiha were gonna kill innocent people" but isn't that what itachi did?, he killed innocent children and adults, and some of them were just by standards and had nothing to do with the coup, his family trusted him and itachi betrayed them, also it was never stated that the uchiha were gonna slaughter the enitre hidden leaf, they just wanted to overthrow them so they can be in power, but no one ever said they were gonna kill innocent people, unless they tried to interfere.

So i ask you, do you really think Itachi did the right?, do you think they all should have been massacred for wanting equal rights?

A good point that made me think but I still think Itachi did do the right thing they tried to change the spirit of the village and change the will of fire both of which many loved but the Uchiha where wronged by the village so I say the Uchiha should inherit the root instead of the police force and have an elected leader like Danzo.

His own family, would you put you're family over other people?, would you kill you're entire family just because they wanted equal rights?

Do you understand how serious the situation was it might have lead to shinobi war, you are pretty much understamating possible consequences if Itachi would have just agreed for coup.:|
What Itachi did was perhaps wrong, he admitted it as well, but he wasn't the only one responsible for death of those innocent children and adults, many other external factors were responsible indirectly.u.u

I wouldn't, but that's why he's a hero. Not many people could do what he did.

If Itachi didn't kill them there would be a civil war. The 5 nations who at the time holder much hostility towards each other would have attacked Konoha and crumble its pieces.

In a way he avoided a war like Hiruzen said. But I'm not sure if it was the best solution though.
He did still have Shisui's eye and the unexplainable fact why did Shisui kill himself when he still had his eye left is really enigmatic. He could just use it on Itachi's father

I could care less. It's not real and the only thing that would've caused is an increase or decrease in the popularity of the series.
OT: Yeah idk

Our families have no more intrinsic value than someone else's family. A life is a life.

OT: As mature as he was, he was too young to make a decision that big. He was being manipulated by older more experienced people as well. Itachi was a great person, but he made a lot of mistakes in his short life.

What did Danzo did
i won't save the village at let pain destroy it and
then power will be mine and can make laws.
why were the uchiha's killed.
OT:Conflicted thing. He did what was needed as a loyal shinobi of village.
Justified:Massacre can never be justified

in a way, their basically just putting other poeple's lives, for more important people's lives, i get that it would have started a big war, but uchiha were gonna fight against people who were in the war, they wasn't gonna kill innocent people who had nothing to do with it

Not only civil war, but after all other nations saw Konoha in real trouble they will all attack Konoha and it would be in ruines.
Without Itachi, there might have not been a Konoha anymore.

So yeah, Itachi was a hero who saved the hidden leaf, but also a hero who saved the world.

A civil war, which would have turned into the next Shinobi World War - that's what Itachi avoided by choosing to eliminate those dear to him by his own hands. For the sake of the village, his nation and the safety of the countless amount of citizens of the Shibobi world, he sacrificed the dearest to him. Sometimes the withered trees are needed to be cut to save the whole forest.

They exchanged a clan's members life with a village's members life. Not the most ideal choice. The whole village was going to be affected by 4 Nations. Everybody had their eyes onto Konoha. It was the golden apple of villages
