People are fooled by the image. Neymar is a great player sure, but 90% of his game is useless showboating. This is the WC, not some Brazilian league. Neymar was useless today. He was mediocre against Chile, and mediocre against Mexico. He isn't all that.

Neymar is only trying to emulate past Brazil players from the past like Ronaldo with skills so cut him some slack.

From todays game we saw that Germany's way of playing is to disoriented, it had many weak points and like this, it will sadly not go through the Netherlands even if they pass Brazil.

Good point, it was great to see Germany use their Orthodox formation today.

That, and his tendency to dive like Tom Daley also doesn't help. No one deserves to get injured on the grandest stage of them all, but it's hard to feel sorry for the guy.

As a Real Madrid Fan I can't say I'm too fond of him, but still gotta say he suffered big time. That and I was looking forward to an epic Semi-Final, not sure that's what's gonna happen anymore.

If Neymar continues to dive left and right each time even after a weak challenge, he is going to hurt his teams chances more as referee will have this pre-determined diver image and will not award him free kicks even for genuine tackles like today.

He might be a good attacker he will never be great if continues to dive like this.

Yeah Neymar isn't playing though lol. One things for certain that the Brazilian offense needs to step up their game or the team in general can't screw around anymore. I imagine he'll start Willian in his place.

First of all he deserved it, in a way that it reflects karma since he dives alot, but at the same time he doesn't cuz its an injury and no player should have to go through that. Second of all, he played shit that game. Third, yea it was the refs fault but i felt like the whole game the ref favoured brazil, yea he called fouls for Colombia, but they werent important fouls such as ones near brazils box which could of been dangerous for Brazil. Last but not least, Brazil didnt deserve to go to the semis excluding Thiago, Hulk, and Luis so as of now Brazil is basically out cuz im sure the germans are gonna give them a beating.

Neymar is OUT of the World Cup. He has a broken vertebrae and cannot play further in the tournament. The Official doctor said its not serious enough to require surgery but he can't play in this tournament.

Of course I know Brazil is much more than just Neymar, but still not having him there is a loss. I realize that Neymar has his off days but he has been great overall in the tournament. Hulk hasn't been too great tbh, Fred is not a grade A striker, and Willian isn't a good replacement. Brazil needs to play smart otherwise its over for them.
