apparently from both times when tobirama used it , no jutsu formula was set beforehand....so that's just regular shunshin+kenjutsu or does he throw the sword to his enemies and teleport to it ?

sasuke will show it better. his technique is indeed not hiraishin, its a teleportation jutsu as well. and he has mastered kenjutsu. but i think for now better to see what wiki explains

Where does it say without a marking? Nothing like that was ever even remotely implied in the manga. Tobirama's tech basically involves him marking his opponent(or somewhere close to his opponent), followed by FTG teleportation, which in turn is followed by a quick slash.

That can't be true. FTG works by linking your chakra to something and then teleporting to it. If there isn't a mark, there is some sort of chakra link on/around him. There needs to be or the technique doesn't work.

which is why I think it's weird...when did tobirama have the time to mark madara or mazo's head ?

maybe the mark on juubito was preserved somewhere round the mazo ?

What are you guys talking about? He puts his jutsu formula on his weapon, either a Sword or Kunai. The marked weapon then allows the user to perform a extremely fast short ranged teleport that slashes through the opponent at blinding speed.

Tobirama can use FTG without any markings, but with a limited range.
