If Sasuke had killed Obito at that time, then the war would had been over, Madara would have lost.

No he couldn't. Who was gonna do it to revive Madara? Black Zetsu wasn't gonna revive Madara, and Madara couldn't revive Madara. If Sasuke had his way, he would killed Obito, the Rinnegan could have been destroyed, there'd be no one left to revive Madara, Kaguya wouldn't have been revived, Edo Madara would have been sealed, Black Zetsu would have been killed, war over.

Let me clear this entire situation up. If Sasuke were to have killed Obito, Madara would have been sealed, and Black Zetsu hopeless. He would've had to wait a couple more years for an Indra reincarnation to have strived for power to try the plan again.

What would have happened had Sasuke killed Obito and destroyed the rinnegan he had depends on the timing of how quickly the Zetsu could use Madara's other rinnegan to revive Madara if they could do it before Gaara and Shukaku sealed him away then events similar to the manga might happen but without Obito things might be worse however if Gaara and Shukaku sealed him away the war might have ended there.

stop being foolish. edo madara was about to be sealed away by sai, he was able to escape by using obito to revive himself, utilizing his rinnegan and using rinne tensei. if sasuke killed obito, then there will be no one to use to revive madara and he would have been comfortably sealed away. no madara means no IT and no IT means no kaguya. effectively the war would have been other by then. fail thread, now suck on your failure
