This isn't the first time they've snuck that in, they just put him there as an easter egg/for fun. I think this is the 3rd timethey've done that now.

You can also find Sasuke's corpse in another Uchiha flashback, the one about Izanami after the Kabuto fight. And there's another one but I don't remember which episode.
