Minato was assigned with recovering the Nine Tails at age 10...............

The Cloud sent some serious shinobi to take the Nine Tails Jinchuriki. They were all high level jounin and grown men but come one, a 10 year old!? He solo'd all three of them so quick when Kushina looked up she was already in his arms being taken back to the village.

Has anyone ever heard of this before? Hiruzen most have known Minato was the strongest in the Leaf at age 10. Why didn't he send Orochimaru, Tsunade, or even Jman? Why was it that Minato was the only one smart enough to trace her red hair?

These things lead me to believe that Hiruzen knew Minato had the skills and intelligence to be an Hokage at age 10. Recovering a jinchuriki would be an S rank mission, certainly out of the league of 10 year old..... but not for Minato it seems.

I don't think he was assigned to recover her as a mention, he just did it himself. I believe he was only a Kage a year before his death back when the war was finishing up that he was in so it definitely wasn't at 10.

I don't know about the Kage level things, but the fact Ay was later impressed he did that alone shows the jounins he fodderized were probably something special. What is for sure though is that he was already the best tracker/sensor ninja of Konoha at 10yo
