Wow! The poll is 50/50 for dead and alive. Are you kidding me? That was the lower half of his body that Hashirama touvhed....& Tobirama talked of using Edo Tensei to bring him back and ask what happned. We dont have to use Edo Tensei people! We know he had his heart fun through by black zetsu!!!!! You dont survive that....well, unless your Obito and the juubi jin...then I guess you survive it.... lol
but for real tho, Madara is dead unless they exorcise the demon Kaguya from Madara's body...and then attach the lower half back on....& even then ????eh..... lol
