Shippuden episodes 245-249 DUBBED.

[Kabuto Yakushi Forever]

When these were released I was flipping out with excitement. These are easily my five favorite episodes. I have been waiting for the dubs for sooooo long. I'm ecstatic that Laura Bailey was reprising her role as Kushina. As you may remember, in the anime (during a flashback) Kushina had a different voice actress. Laura Bailey played Kushina in UNS3. She fits Kushina VERY well and I love her work. Tony Oliver, who is mostly known for his role as Lupin from Lupin the 3rd plays the voice of Minato. Over all the dubs of these episodes are absolutely EPIC. The only complaint that I have is how Kurama's voice actor roared over the pre-recorded roars. However, it was not horrible.

I seriously hope I don't get any hate filled replies from some weaboos about how "Dubs suck! The Japanese version is better!!!!!!"

In my opinion, the dub is better.

In my opinion, the dub is better.

maybe its just me, but id watch subbed over dub anyday. actually, i just wouldnt watch it if dubed is the only optioon

In my opinion, the dub is better.

Well, every single one of us has their own preferences. But for me, I prefer subbed over dubbed. *_*

Dubbers get so much hate....Not to mention the subbies will illegally download the episodes therefore the anime companies lose money. The DVDs have BOTH versions on the disc.. (Except Pokemon, I DO hate the dub of Pokemon) I HIGHLY encourage you to BUY THE DVDS! You are only hurting the companies when you download the episodes.

Lol People just like the "Authenticity" that comes with the sub. It doesn't matter if they have no idea how that actually sounds to a Japanese person. For all we know, the Japanese the voice actors could be terrible, and we wouldn't know the difference. I can role with either. Don't care. Though, dubs might be slightly superior because there isn't text covering your picture, you can also look away for a few seconds and still know what's going on.

Even if people dislike the dub, the DVD boxset releases have dual audio tracks. So, you can switch to Japanese. The bottom line is, if you can afford it, you should legally support the series that you like so much.

The only downside is that Shippuuden 54+ is 720p (Tv rips) and like 220ish+ is 1080p. Dvd is like ass compared to that. They should have blu-rays of that too, even if it is only "upscaled" it does actually have better picture than just plain dvd on hd screen.

Yeah, no idea what the were smoking or thinking when they made Naruto's VA voice him like someone with lung cancer and something lodged in his throat. Maybe it was for shits and giggles and it got mixed up with the proper original recording and they had to stick with it?
