Feel like Sasuke and Naruto's newfound powers have been lackluster?

I mean, they're nothing we haven't seen before and they're really limited.

I was hoping to see something more like Kaguya's techniques for both of them. Ya know, something new.

Instead we get some new teleportation, which is cool in it's own right, but it's really just an upgraded FTG (for combat).

Naruto just get's new rasengan variants and healing.

I was thinking that maybe this will let Both shine and show their new powers to their absolute limit, but I'm not so sure anymore. Especially with Hogoromo and Obito coming into play.

This fight is getting lackluster itself. I want to see Narutos BM already if he has it, more rinne techs and more from kaguya as well. I want to see an actual fight where they just go at it back to back. these pauses inbetween every attack is getting annoying.

Very true - but remember that the only reason Hagoromo gave them his power was to seal Madara (and now Kaguya). All of their newfound abilities are just bonus (albeit, pretty awesome bonus powers). But yeah, it ain't much.

Anime wise it'll be beautiful but right now in the manga it's odd, we'll have to be patient. The fight got real at first than just went to talking, than thirst no jutsu, and now everywhere. Kishimoto is just setting up his pieces before the grand goal.

I think that maybe Kishi should have focused on Sasuke, Naruto, and their fight with Kaguya instead of involving so many people.

Granted I don't know the ending, nor what Kishi has in mind, but it would be a lot better IMO.
