[Discussion] Obito return to the village

Why do people hate the fact that Obito might return to the village.

I know he was the masked man and spent his entire adult/child life trying to destroy the world, he commanded the Akatsuki and started this war.

However you have to remember Naruto series is about ninja death,betrayls,friendship,war etc is all what a ninja is about, before the Shinobi alliance these ninjas would of killed each other for their villages but since the war everyone has united. They have accepted they have to move on from the past and try to live in a better world and Obito is trying to redeem himself aswell for what he has done.

He was just a puppet in all of this, brainwashed as a child.

Returning to his home, will help him be who he was before Madara found him.

At this point if he doesn't die his resurrection will be unnecessary for the plot. He may die fighting Kaguya, he may get rinnegan again and die ressurecting the dead shinobi from the war. Either way he needs to die for the story.

Edit: Death for a noble cause would also be best for him ending his cycle of hatred.

In this series, a big message is that a Shinobi's death shows who they truly are. His redeemigg act will be self-sacrifice.

I'm okay with him coming back to the leaf, but the world won't be. None of this series would have happened if he didn't listen to madara. People can pardon him but he won't become hokage. And if you read the latest manga chapter you know that he is ready to die. He is not going up against normal ninjas he's going up against Kaguya, so chances are very slim. But we all hope everyone gets out of this alive!

Because he destroyed the village with Kyuubi,responsible for the death of both Kushina and Minato,been in the Akatsuki and responsible for the war that killed so many people in which you can count parents of Shikamaru and Ino,Neji died too....I mean I'm not a fan of Konoha,but come on people...He needs to pay for his actions.
