It's actual genetic material. Inmeandyou is a jutsu so it dispels when the caster dies. I.E. he ain't coming back.

You can consider the lower part of his body that he replaced as a separate entity entirely. Therefore, it no longer had any connection to the real Madara and thus did not perish when he died.

Also, chakra doesn't vanish from the user when it dies.

If that were the case, Sasori would not be able to use the human puppet's chakra for his own needs.

That is not the case. It was said that human puppets are a special case and not only that, but Madara's orbs were activated jutsu anyway. It would make sense that any activated jutsu is dispelled when you die. But to clarify the Human Puppet thing, its a special case because he preserves the body in a way that allows for the chakra to still be used.

That is not the case. It was said that human puppets are a special case and not only that, but Madara's orbs were activated jutsu anyway. It would make sense that any activated jutsu is dispelled when you die. But to clarify the Human Puppet thing, its a special case because he preserves the body in a way that allows for the chakra to still be used.

Sorry, but even Edo Tensei has these properties.

Dead bodies hold chakra, because chakra comes from the mix of physical energy (held in cells, even dead cells) and spiritual energy (which is the soul and mind of the person).

The difference is that the chakra network stops flowing when the person dies. But when the dead person is manipulated (Edo Tensei or Human Puppet) chakra actually starts flowing again.
