Yet, only one of them is completely black and white. Not to mention that none of them have pure white in them, nor pure black. (That says alot about your overall skill of analysing artwork.) Also, I am not creating avatars to showcase skill, nor do I want to. As long as the end result is good, then what does it matter of how you created it? Be it simple or advanced.

Let see, I removed the white, altered the colors of the background and lines. Removed the background on some of them, added eye color with shade. Added the border along with the actual cropping. That certain sounds like more than "nothing". Not to mention that I am fully able to make more advanced edits than this, but I stand my point. What is the point of the end result is just as good?

I could, but personally I prefer black and white with a dominant color. (Same as my clothing style to be honest.) Though I may make some more colored versions in the future, who knows.
