I think the top 6 are Gaara, Naruto, Madara, Sasuke, Itachi, and Kabuto. Not sure about order. Also Nagato could actually be there too...Kakshi is barely outside

But still, no other Otstutsuki descendent went through what Gaara, Sasuke, and Kabuto went through. They have had the worst lives imo.

Itachi had no choice but to do everything he did.

Actually, he did, he even admitted that. He didn't choose a better option because he didn't trust in other people and did what he could control. He basically admitted that as well. That was part of his resurrection, he was telling these things to Naruto and Sasuke and lamented that it wasn't until he died that he realized that he needed to have more faith in other people instead of trying to do everything himself, and maybe things would had been better. He was telling them to learn from his mistake.

DEFINITELY Itachi! I mean half these people had people killed infront of them, Itachi for the sake of preventing a civil war from happening in Konoha decided to kill his father,mother and ALL his clan members. Right before this he watched his bestfriend commit suicide, for the same reason for peace. He then had to watch his little brother who he loved so much suffer loneliness and had to deal with all the hate people gave him even though being a hero. He was treated a villain for 16+ years despite being a hero.

If you're ignorant enough to say "he didnt have to he had a choice", yes he did have a choice...but they basically said you have to (them being Danzo mostly) If he did not do it, Sasuke was threatened, and if he did not do it his country would go to war, other countries would take advantage of this and attack Konoha while it is in a weak state, and allies of Konoha would have to join the war potentially creating a bigger and more deadlier World war. As a kid he experienced war, and obviously that traumatized him he had to do it, he didnt want his brother to experience the exact same thing. Also could you imagine the kind of guilt and pressure that would be upon him if he chose to decline this mission, he would think" its my fault this war is happening" the guilt of watching people dead on the floor BECAUSE of you. Yes he did kill 10s of people, but what would that be compared to millions. He had to choose an option, but either way people would be killed. He lived his life as a villain,but was actually a hero..

AND YES i know hes just a character, but he was wonderfully made, that you could tell what emotions he would be facing if this happened and if that happened. I applaud Kishimoto in his creation of itachi

kabuto and obito isnt that sad or tough really just typical.

Most of that sounds like Kabuto's past. Except replace "father" with "mother", and "killed himself" with "tried to murder her son".
Also, replace "most of his friends" with "2 of his friends". Hell, at least he had and still has friends. Kabuto had nothing. From the very beginning, Kabuto had nothing.

2. Obito - Nearly killed, watched best friend killed by other best friend, manipulated by Madara, lied to by Madara
3. Nagato - Parents killed, abandoned by Jiraiya, basically killed his best friend, killed his sensei, belief on peace was completely delusional, horribly crippled, in the end realized how wrong he was
4. Gaara - No friends, attempted assassinations from daddy, no mother, no sleep, thought to exist only to kill
5. Naruto - No parents, no friends growing up, shunned by everybody


Naruto's and Gaara's life has recently changed, still 80~% of their life have been what I said
Madara is not on the list as everything he did was for his own good, he had no qualms, he pretty much accomplished everything he wanted.

I H8 U," etc. Replace Hate with something else and then maybe Sasuke wouldn't be corrupted. Look at Batman..

Tsunade lost the people most important to her.
And I mean, she was already known as the medical expert and still failed to save her lover. I'm sure that makes you blame yourself at least some amount.

Didn't Orochimaru's parents die when he was a child or something? I'd say Tsunade's past is worse, since she lived a pretty good life until then, even if during wars. Then suddenly her happiness was just taken away and she was left without anything.
