I don't know why people are so obsessed with the idea of them losing power ups, whens the last time you read a Shounen where the two main characters were weakened in the end, also it would be kind of a ridiculous ending if the final bad guy is beaten with temporary power ups.

If they were temporary then they should lose them and beat Kaguya with whatever their final power level is.

That doesn't sound like the end of a Shounen manga, also that would make the speeches the Tailed beasts gave the Sage about the Ninshou idea rather redundant.

Nope, returning Chakra will free them from the Outer Path heresy (relying on an external power (in this case Chakra) to achieve peace) they will be freed and will be able to pursue the true path to peace: the Inner Path of Enlightenment (relying on one's own power to achieve peace) of course the inner path cannot be achieved instantly, unlike before during the pre-chakra era prior to Kaguya, humanity will now have a guide, someone who will preach the new gospel to the new world, that's where Naruto comes in, if he spreads the gospel, then he will need to travel the world, leaving Konoha in Sasuke's hands.

they might lose them when they seal kaguya. the bijuu will have to be extracted or returned maybe to shinju. and/or naruto can take care of them/shinju. naruto and sasuke will have to find a compromise or agreement. who knows..

i was thinking that when naruto said it was cool about the bijuu to hago, he'll want to continue in some form his wishes. hence the parallel to hago. and saske will want that gone.

Unless hagoromo asks for his powers back, I doubt they'll lose it....
