Hidan stated he had to keep performing the ritual to maintain immortality.


Therefore lack of rituals = no immortality. Hidan is dead.


I believe Kishi said in an interview he was slowly dying from lack of nutrients, but I have not seen it for myself.

Hidan maybe immortal but he can still die from the lack of nutrition. Since he is burried under the earth for more then years, i think he is dead!
