Hey there guys.

I'm gonna be using you guys again instead of ask Yahoo or ask wiki or whatever the hell those stupid websites are.
+1 post count anyways, amirite guys?

Question 1

So, I have a question about eyes.
I know that there is a disease called Heterochromia which affects your eyes.
When someone has it means that they have 2 different coloured eyes.
It's like 1 eye is blue and the other one is green.

But I have a friend, and his eyes are unique.
Rather than having 2 eyes that are both different colours, he has 2 eyes that both share 2 colours.
I'm not joking right now, in both of his eyes there are 2 different colours, about 30% of his eyes (The lower part) is silver and the rest is yellow, it's the same with both eyes.

Now, I'm not sure if this is precisely how it is because I haven't seen him in about a year, but I definitely know that his eyes share 2 colours.

Would anyone POSSIBLY know what that would be called? Is it still Heterochromia or is it a different disease?

Question 2

I heard of a disease called Highlander Syndrome.
Basically it's supposed to be a disease that keeps everyone from growing their body, basically keeping them like a kid.
I Googled this disease but I barely seem to get anything on it.

So, is Highlander Syndrome an actual disease? Or is there a different name for this disease?

I know partial Heterochromia is when you have different colors in the same eye, so i'm assuming your friend has partial Heterochromia in both his eyes. Even rarer I guess. Not completely sure. Just make sure he doesn't try to steal his brother's eyes to get permanent vision.

Oh and to answer question 2, it could just be a growth hormone deficiency.

You are right.

For question 2
It seems to be the opposite of progeria and also very rare. That might be why you aren't finding much info on it. Have you tried searching any databases? You might find a case or two of individuals who've stopped aging both physically and mentally.

The fact that there is more info on Progeria than Highlander syndrome must mean that it's extremely rare then.
The Wiki says that Progeria is pretty much in 1 of 8 million people and there is that amount of info, I wonder what the rarity would be with Highlander syndrome then.

I'm intrigued now. Lol
There are diseases that stop age progression but not as severely as you are asking. I'll definitely ask my professors when I get back to uni if they've heard anything like it. :)
