Why does Hamura "have" to make an appearance?

Why do majority of people think he has to make an appearance? I mean, both Indra and Ashura haven't made an appearance; they are transmigrations, yes, but they have more relevance than Hamura right now. So why will Hamura make an appearance? I could see him doing the Hagoromo thing, but to actually appear on the battlefield? I guess we'll see though...

But, what does him appearing on the battlefield have to do with a power up? By that logic he should just fight Kaguya himself.

Yeah, I guess so. But I don't see how he would just "appear" It seems stupid to seal himself in those tools too. I mean, wouldn't he still die in there?

... How will he just "arrive"? Also what would he know about their powers? Or do you mean the seals? But, either way Hagoromo has obviously told them how it works otherwise they wouldn't know how it works in the first place.

Wouldn't it be more logical for Hamura to fight considering he'd already done so before..? Instead of trusting his power ups to some brats?
