Sasuke isn't an idiot. If u r a nuke nin who is internationally wanted then it would strike u as odd that Sakura said she wanted to join him, but it was pure BS the moment Sakura said that she was OK with Sasuke murdering the ppl of Konoha.

The only important character that Sasuke killed was Danzo. Bold is lol worthy, Gaara lived for killing, Sasuke only killed Danzo, some fodder Samurai and some fodder white Zetsu (if they count).

Gaara changed and redeemed himself over 300-400 chapters ago, so the anger has faded ... Sasuke cant just come in, declare his intentions and keep up the attitude and expect things to be forgiven in 10-20 chapters.

Not to mention Gaara actually had a affiliation, he is of the Sand village and so his actions were mostly for the Sand and his people would support him (Plus Gaara only killed some enemy Genins and Chunins). Sasuke on the other hand is affiliated with a terrorist organization: attacked the 5 Kages, tried to take a Bijuu and promote a War .... which left him with very few people on his side. He is redeeming himself now, but forgiving process is not instantaneous.

-Gaara's attitude is "better" than sasuke's

I have missed something, if so note it. All these reasons can be argued depending on what people's perspectives of what is deserving of hate, or not, is. Doesn't matter what some people do, there will always be others that hate them regardless of whether they seem good or evil one person's or majority's standards.
