It's a pretty simple arguement for me. Gaara was bad but he also took ful responsibility for his short comings and spent many years earning back peoples respect. He didn't take short cuts, he just sucked it up and built himself anew from rock bottom - I respect that.

Sasuke on the other hand always places his problems on someone else and doesn't take responsibility for his actions. He thinks that he can just take the hokage spot by force because he thinks knows best (selfish), as opposed to earning it through mutual trust with the villagers - I don't respect that.

Well Sasuke didint feel superior to people around him at the time,
LOL what? Sasuke has always had a superiority issue with him, he thought everyone was beneath him.

its basically like a curse, He lost someone important to him, and it makes all their love for other things turn into hate (As tobirama stated),
Because their "curse" makes their choices for them. Naruto had just as much reason to hate as anyone. Kakashi had just as much reason to hate as anybody. Hashirama had just as much reason to hate as anybody. Itachi had just as much reason to hate as anybody. Bee had just as much reason to hate as anybody. Kushina had just as much reason to hate as anybody. They chose not to.

also i guess you don't know what reincarnation means, so let me clarify this for you, when you're reincarnated, the new body, follow's a similar route, the same way the original went, so by turn of events sasuke was turning out just like indra, popular amongst everyone, natural talented, and then in the end turning against everyone, so in a way, Sasuke was having a "Internal struggle" so to speak

No need to clarify, I'm well aware of the concept of "reincarnation", I'm just not dense enough to make the excuse that Naruto was Ashura's meat suit nothing more, and did not make any choices on his own, because Ashura made those choices for him Same with Sasuke. The bolded statement is a prime example of what you are trying to do, distance Sasuke from accountability by glazing over other aspects of his life except the ones that are similar to Indra, in order to make some stupid argument that because the relatively small aspects that you have highlighted are similar to Indra, that Indra is actually the one responsible for the choices that Sasuke has made on his own.
So now were using humility as an excuse for Sasuke being bashed and hated? Lol

Who's bashing Sasuke?

Cough Itachi Cough
Oh didn't oro and kabuto knew about massacre.
Oh didn't obito took a gamble.
Oh iand didn't black zetsu rewrote uchiha tablet.
i think yes

Cough Itachi tortured him once, Orochimaru and Kabuto were not privy to the knowledge, Obito met Sasuke once and told him about the massacre, Sasuke never went by the tablet, Sasuke made his choices on his own. Cough.

Oh I'm sorry, let me just turn back the pendulum and remember moments when Sasuke actually cared about apologizing to other people for his sins.

I swear, people only hate on Sasuke because it's Sasuke.

Well, I don't hate Sasuke but I understand why some people separate Gaara from him:

Gaara mainly killed people that attacked him first or were enemies of his village (as the Sand village was planning to attack the Hidden Leaf).

So his actions while wrong, were more along the lines of warfare (but even then that is pushing it as he did commit crimes).

Sasuke ditched his village, attacked and tried to kill someone who considered him his best friend, attacked a village that the village he came from was at peace with, killed a Hokage candidate (yes he was a amoral jerk but that doesn't change his position), stabbed and almost killed Karin who trusted and loved him, abandoned Suigetsu and Juugo two people who considered him a friend and comrade, attacked the five Kage summit on behalf of a terrorist organization who he was aiding, killed many Samurai who were just doing their job when he could have dealt with them easily without killing them, helped revive the Ten Tails by delivering a tentacle of the 8 tails, and tried to destroy a village that his brother sacrificed everything to protect.

There is a vast difference between Gaara and Sasuke, yes Gaara did horrible things as well but they pale in comparison.

he didnt just only kill people that attacked him thats false. what did lee do to him aside being his opponent in a chuunin exam? he had won the fight but he still went further and attampted to kill the guy and would have suceeded if not for gai. he threatened to kill naruto and shikamaru so hes in no way clean in the sense of killing those who only threatened you.

yes sasuke left konoha but he never attacked it, he never brought harm to konoha unlike gaara. ohh so you slate sasuke for killing samurai who attacked him but you try and defend gaara by saying he killed only those who opposed him. double standard much. sasuke wanted to destroy the village but he had his own justification for it. the village is not a saint village. it consists of rotten higher ups who are prepared to do anything like killing a clan to protect it. granted sasuke is not justified but in the end he made his decision to protect it after hearing the full facts of everything involved. gaara needed naruto to kick sense into him while sasuke found himself by taking his own path. lets not forget gaara never had an older bro who tortured him telling him to embrace hate by killing his closest friend. itachis actions made sure sasuke will seek to defeat him and avenge his clan and thats how sasukes life was built in initially

No becoz his path is not what a typical shonen manga fanboy desires from MC

Sasuke in this part would've told the army that they were all useless and fodders as Gaara did more for the shinobi world than Sauce ever did. Exception of getting rid of Danzo and Oro (temporarily). He went from crazy to a Worthy Kage that even the Tsuchikage got told to stfu in a well mannered way.

Rock lee comes from a village that the Sand village was planning to destroy anyway, he would have been killed either way.

There is a difference between what Sasuke was doing and what Gaara was doing, Sasuke was doing something called terrorism, Gaara was (in a ruthless and brutal out of control way) doing his duty for his village.

Of course he tried to kill Naruto and Shikamaru, the idea was to kill everyone.

Sasuke was going to kill everyone that his brother died to protect for a selfish reason, the villagers had nothing to do with the Uchiha clan massacre, heck they pitied him and the Uchiha clan were viewed as the victims in the situation.

Yet Sasuke was going to kill them all anyway for no other reason then he was angry.

Gaara got nothing from the Hidden Leaf Village nor was it his home village or part of his country.

Also when Gaara redeemed himself, he didn't do it by telling the people that gave him a second chance that they were useless and weak. Nor did he abandon them if they had no use.

Gaara has already made his repentance and is now a kind hearted full fledged good guy. Sasuke has yet to make such a change.

Sasuke is a MC his road is more influential to the theme of the manga, Sasuke has to take the long road so that if Naruto changes him in the end it seems like a big feat

Obito met Sasuke once and told him about the massacre, they really didnt have that much of a relationship
Sasuke never went by the tablet, meaning he never followed it.
Emotions or no, he made those choices on his own and is accountable for them.

The curse makes them go insane, Tobirama stated this in the chapter also i'm just telling the truth, Kishimoto wanted to put this whole "Reincarnation" stuff in the story, so i'm just telling it how it is

Sasuke had to view himself above others. Think about what his goal was. Itachi was an Anbu Captain at 13 so Sasuke falling behind reminded him of how hopeless his goal was which infuriated him.

Tortured him once when he was little and another time in part one. Itachi beat the sh** out of Sasuke, broke his arm, taunted him on his weakness, and made him experience the most tragic event of his life over and over again via genjutsu. XD Itachi did Sasuke pretty bad

So kabuto was sprouting BS when telling sasuke that itachi is a liar becoz he lied to him whole life and saying sasuke must have found the truth about itachi that's why he didn't return to konaha.
u do know what i meant by Gamble
So sasuke nvr went tablet OK if u believe that.
Yes he should be accountable but not the way u r trying to force him to be accountable becoz he didn't choose the path u desired.

It doesn't happen to every Uchiha so it isn't an adequate excuse like you are trying to make it out to be. And yes, Kishi did introduce the reincarnation stuff, but he never once said that Sasuke's choices were made by Indra so stop trying to argue that.

Sasuke had to view himself above others. Think about what his goal was. Itachi was an Anbu Captain at 13 so Sasuke falling behind reminded him of how hopeless his goal was which infuriated him.

@bold that's garbage. You don't have to view yourself above others to become strong or achieve a goal, he had a superiority issue because he, like the rest of the Uchiha (Itachi, Shisui, Kagami aside), believed that he was better than everybody else, because he was an Uchiha.

Tortured him once when he was little and another time in part one. Itachi beat the sh** out of Sasuke, broke his arm, taunted him on his weakness, and made him experience the most tragic event of his life over and over again via genjutsu. XD Itachi did Sasuke pretty bad

I forgot about the second Tsukuyomi during the fight. The bold happened when Sasuke was arrogant enough to attack him, Itachi did him wrong, but that was his fault.

So kabuto was sprouting BS when telling sasuke that itachi is a liar becoz he lied to him whole life and saying sasuke must have found the truth about itachi that's why he didn't return to konaha.

Kabuto did not know the details of the Uchiha massacre at the time that Sasuke was under Orochimaru.
No, actually I don't.
Sasuke never followed the tablet. Try again.
What in gods name are you talking about? I haven't said anything about a "path that I desired", the ony thing I've said is that Sasuke is the one that made his choices, so he should be accountable for them. Period.

I agree. Gaara has shown a lot of humility.
Humility? or Humanity?
Gaara to me has show he isn't perfect and he has made mistakes but he expressed he needs everyone to cooperate for the war and to understand each other, even the Sage failed at the if you want to get technical on it. But Gaara has shown he believes in everyone, especially Naruto.

Also when Gaara redeemed himself, he didn't do it by telling the people that gave him a second chance that they were useless and weak. Nor did he abandon them if they had no use.

that still doesnt justify him wanting to kill lee. the invasion hadnt quite begun yet and besides lee is just an innocent kid participating in an exam, he had no business with the sand nor would he on his own go and oppose the sand. anyways gaaras dark path changed when naruto changed him while sasukes has his own path and had to find himself.

sasuke entered the summit to kill danzo, he had no business with the kages but unfortunately for him zetsu ratted him out but still doesnt excuse him completely. however you say gaara was doing duty for his village, well sasuke was doing his deeds for his brother and for his clan, he had his own reasons and wasnt just on a mindless killing hunt.

so you say sasuke was going to kill innocents who had no knowledge and nothing to do wioth his clas massacre but then you ignore that gaara also was going to kill innocents(lee) who had no business with the sand nor do they know of any feud. sorry its the same thing. sasukes always has a reason. his reason was to kill everyone because they are all living and breathing because of itachis sacrifice so hes going to take their happiness away same way they took his whole clan away and didnt leave any innocents. hes using the method of an eye for an eye. he wasnt just doing because he was angry. its left for whether you agree with him or not.

at the end sasuke is now helping to protect them, hes knows the full facts. he didnt take itachis feelings into consideration before but now hes doing so. as for him telling sakura and kakashi that they are weak, well hes looking at the bigger picture and he feels they will just be in the way as they cant do much. naruto and sasuke need to concentrate 100 percent so you cant say hes totally wrong but sasuke has not be one to sugarcoat stuffs.

No, because of his actions.

He kind of acts like an *******.
So you hate Sasuke because of his actions and that he acts like an a$$hat?

> Implying that the way Sasuke acts is out of thin air? And yet no one has any hate for Hidan
> Implying that this manga is supposed to be revolved around respect? Most people got pissy when he snapped on Kakashi and Sakura

So, do you hate Vegeta then? He was an a$$hate to other people and even Bulma at one point.

The reason why people hated on and still hates on Sakura to this day is because of what she said in chapter 3 to Naruto. She had no place to say what she said. Sasuke's actions are some-what understandable and the way he acts is also understandable. You remember when he was a kid. He was cheerful and kind to others. Who would figure that after a menacing night of pain and sorrow of having your parents killed in front of your eyes by your own brother would influence you to act like a jackass..

At the end of the day, some of Sasuke actions were bad and some were understandable, but it all comes down to who we are talking about and we are discussing about Sasuke and since people love to blindly hate on Sasuke without actually understanding shit then they become ignorant in their words and say stupid things. Why hate on Sasuke? Why not hate on the one who caused him to act that way? Itachi was the sole reason for Sasuke's outcome and even trying to influence his life. I fail to see how someone can hate on Sasuke but at the same time love Itachi.

When it comes to Gaara's life, he did have it pretty bad, but you people are trying to excuse all the things he did on simple apologies and humility, which is pretty stupid considering who we are talking about. Sasuke has never been apologetic to anyone ever since he was a kid and you want to bring this horse shit into my home?

Fact of the matter is, is that most of you use double standards against Sasuke for Gaara's sake because you hate on Sasuke. Simple.
