[Question] What anime has the best animation?

What anime do you guys think has the best animation?

For me it's K and Garden of Words.
I mentioned them both because they are both magnificent but yet different

I'm trying to find any anime with similar or better animation than these 2.

Don't mention these because they're not as good.

5 Centimeters per second also has good animation.
But as I said, it's another one made by Makoto Shinkai so they all have fantastic animation, but Garden of Words is the latest one so it has the best animation IMO.

I often look at animation for anime as it stands alone. IMO comparing two separate anime that were produced years apart is the same as comparing lighting in colored movies compared to black and white movies. For me, an anime that has aged well in animation is Ghost in the Shell.

Well, I know how much you love Clannad, so that's out lol Of the rest I've seen, the best would probably be Eden of the East (the backgrounds and vehicles are extremely realistic) and Highschool of the Dead (dunno why they wasted it on such a trashy series, but whatever). I'd also consider Steins;Gate, Samurai Champloo, Hellsing Ultimate, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Psycho-Pass, and lastly, Wolf's Rain and Mushishi (where art is concerned, those two are probably the best I've seen). I'd also recommend Cowboy Bebop, cause the actual animation really is fantastic despite its age.

Yeah it's awesome, it's made by Makoto Shinkai so it has to be.
The ending isn't as sad as 5 Centimeters per second luckily.

I've seen countless anime, have yet to see an anime which compares to k project in animation

Personally I think guren Lagan also has fine animation.
