Can Totsuka Sword seal a shadow clone?

We all know what happens to a shadow clone when it's damaged. Shadow clone's skin isn't as tough as Superman's skin, so totsuka should be able to pierce it

However, unlike water or wood clone, shadow clones aren't made of anything, but pure chakra. Shadow clones have exactly equal amount of chakra as the user, so it's impossible to distinguish them from the user. When a shadow clone is damaged, it vanishes instantly and the chakra of the clone goes back to the user.

So can Itachi seal a shadow clone or not?

Let me explain this to you. A clone is just an image not physical so it cant do anything other than trick the other person. a shadow clone is physical so it can damage the oppent therefore totska seals. not that such a thing would ever be necessary.

the clone user wouldn't be associatively absorbed either(Muu proves this)
