Shinobi Alliance disorganized

The Shinobi Alliance is highly disorganized.

I'm sure no one is heart broken over the death of countless fodders

Often their deaths were used to show the potency of an Edo opponent
However, if the SA was more militarily organized I feel their deaths would've been reduced drastically

There's no way possible for 1 person to be able to effectively lead this many soldiers!
They may be the generals, but the SA should've been comprised of many smaller groups

This is how I would do it:
1 Jounin captain
1 medical nin
1 sensor type
1 communication/intel division nin
2 or 3 chunin's for muscle

I know in a realistic world it wouldn't divide up evenly.. But you get the idea!!

If you were Head General Gaara how would you lead your forces??

jounin is enough to lead thousand genin/chuunin fodders

Yeah I wouldn't read too much into Kishi' military organizational skills. I don't think he consulted a military official on how such large groups should be organized.

And my military prowess goes only as far as RPGs so I wouldn't fair any better at organizing these types of things. XD

it was very good organized , thanks to shikaku , ... they were out number and they kept very good . of course many of fodders died cuz of Madara, and Juubi .... they were unpredictable .... the rest was OK ..except the Medicine nin. they failed

I think watching smaller units like the commando unit duke it out as a team would've been much more entertaining than watching Edo Kages or Madara steam roll through hundreds.

That being said, I think the sealing corps would've been crucial to SA success

yeah too bad there weren't very many ninja who specialized in Sealing. The one that did were pretty much dead.
