Is toriko good?

To be honest i got really bored and just picked up reading Toriko..

Toriko before has never really caught my interest however the first 3 chapters completely caught me the manga is interesting and fun.. make u hungry aswell so watch out

im on chapter 37 now and i picked it up yesterday xD i deffinetly reccomend it

Toriko as a manga is similar in quality to naruto.

If you like reading naruto, you will love toriko

--- however, the anime is only okay. - which is a shame because the manga is great.

The anime is horse shit. Read the manga. Toriko is a really good manga. Just stay as far away from the anime as possible.

do not frucking go near the Anime, They ruined the anime and butchered it to living hell. the anime I'd give a 3/10....the manga i'd give a 8.7/10. Toriko is top 3 shounen right now in my opinion along with one piece and hunter x hunter. If you like those two manga then I'm sure you'll enjoy toriko. Just do not watch the anime whatever you do

Damn. Would you go as far to say it's like 4kids version of OP? Was it that butchered? Man, I hope it gets re-animated by another studio, f*ck toei animation. Even OP anime isn't doing so well with the Dressrosa arc, they should of went on a longer filler arc or go on hiatus. Anyways, I'll give this series a read whenever I'm not so busy.

Hmmm probably worse than the 4kids version of OP. Especially towards the end the series (the anime got cancelled)...They censor out the blood and replace it with sweat. There's battles in the manga where characters are losing limbs but during anime it doesn't happen. They changed events and characters moves and skip over very important plot points in the anime. The anime is just something that got worse as time went on...

I probably would of dropped the series if I started the anime first, that's the level that it would of ruined the series for me lol
