Amaterasu kind of sucks

Yea, Amaterasu has the ability to burn anything it touches, but against top tiers, amaterasu is kind of meaningless. Raikage was able to dodge it, Gaara was able to block it, Juubito liked it, Juubi removed it, Kankuro was like, "ANYWAYS..." Madara just laughed at it, Kaguya didn't notice it, Kabuto didn't care for it, Sasuke snake shedded it, Killerbee substitutioned it.

Has the power to burn anything it touches...false.

Seems to only work on fodder like zetsu and whatnot, but even then, for fodder, all sasuke needs to do it use his kenjutsu.

Rainkage didn't dodge you notice his arm is missing. It force killer bee to the ropes. He never used it against kabuto as a weapon only as a shield and it worked. The jiubbi was forced to shed a part of it's flesh. sasuke's snake didn't shed it he did by using one of orochis tech's. Madara also lost his arm and had to ditch his armor.
Garaas sand did block it but the sand was burning so he had to ditch it. It's the flame that doesn't burns out until whatever it is burning is no more. Kenjutsu is a sword tech and far weaker than amaterasu.
PS it soloed endo Nagoto who was forced to used shinra tensei (almighty push) on his own body to get rid of the flames

kamui hasnt actually killed any strong character either...

nagato repelled it after he got one-shotted by it (he only survived because he was Edo Tensei revived).

Do you really want to see a decapitated person in the manga? Kamui is a nasty way to kill and only people with s/t technique, super speed or clone jutsu users can counter it. Kamui can't be repelled like Amaterasu

Just see the failure rate of Amaterasu and compare it to Kamui. If Kakashi didn't have Kamui, Obito would have whooped BM Naruto's ass long time ago. Even juubi madara couldn't react to double kamui

Because if it did stand up to it's hype and killed all strong characters that it faced then it would be op, and that would be unfair as Sasuke would have killed every single person that he used it against and then people would still be b*tching about how strong Sasuke is with Amaterasu.

He used it against Bee. He was a coward so he escaped.
He used it against Danzo. He was a loser so he needed multiple Sharingans to cancel it.
He used it on Juubito but he sensed it and blocked it.
Same with Madara.

As I recall, Jinton has never actually killed anyone either, so this meaningless jabber of Amaterasu being useless is a pretty failed point as I can name a lot of techniques that are useless that have never killed anyone.

Rasen-Shuriken never killed anyone, even during the war that shit was still useless. It didn't kill Kakuzu because Kakashi has to finish the blow and he was still speaking.
Madara absorbed Rasen-Shuriken and even tanked Naruto's Odama Rasengan with his ribcage Susano'O.

Suigetsu tanked a Bijuudama.

Kamui has also never killed anyone either.

I can go on, but this is just failed attempt at downplaying Sasuke once again.

Rasengan is indeed shit, but its irrelevant...I don't remember Kakuzu scene very well. But Amaterasu hype was very big and everybody knows how it disappointed us

obviously strong characters can't die from that otherwise there would be no fight and sasuke/itachi would one shot a lot of characters. Imagine if obito couldn't counter sasuke's implanted failsafe amaterasu or madara when he just got revived, the story would be over already so how boring would that have been.
